GET /v1/places/{id}

Use the by-ID endpoint when your application already knows a stable Kairos place identifier and needs to refresh the normalized place record.

Stable ID format

Kairos uses OSM-backed identifiers in the form osm:<type>:<id>, where type can be node, way or relation.

Because this endpoint has no search origin, distance_m is null.

Store the ID in your own database and refresh place metadata without performing another nearby search.

Use the stable identifier as a key between Kairos location data and your own schedules, descriptions or business data.
